Ken to back Lee Fortune
at lunchtime DART concert
I’ll be sitting in on harmonica with Lee Fortune from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at the Dallas Area Rapid Transit West End Station. Lee is this week’s featured artist for the DART Music Station outdoor concert series.
DART West End Station is located on Pacific Avenue, between Market and Lamar streets, in downtown Dallas.
Lee’s folk-rock tune, Runnin’, was a recent two-time Track of the Day on leading indie site Garageband.com. Reviewers compared the song favorably to the work of John Hiatt and Van Morrison, and singled out my harmonica part for praise as well.
Lee also performs with The Bandmates and produces music through his own Bright Spot Music Studio.
