Summary: A subdued Fugly J. Wetzel apologizes for the recent lack of new program content and promises a “re-booted” Big Ugly Podcast in 2007.
Recently, Fugly’s been beaten down by pizza delivery obligations, car problems and unreliable production equipment. Co-host D-Evil is busy moving into a new house.
All fodder for fascinating future podcast discussion, I’m sure. I mean, why watch network television when you can listen to a couple of overeducated Midwestern low-wage-earners comment ironically on their tragically wasted potential?
Promises, promises
Fugly personally apologizes to me, Ken Turetzky, for “hosing” the data files that contained Part 2 of our comedy music interview. He hopes to resurrect those files for some future podcast.
Big Ugly has logged 549 site visitors and 703 subscribers during its first year, Fugly says. The show will celebrate its anniversary with a special show on New Year’s Eve. Hell, I’ll be listening. It’s not like I have anything else planned for that night.
