The Mad Music Show: Raising hell with Snowball and Fuzzy

The Mad Music Show with Cap'n WayneThe Mad Music Show, Show 86

Date: July 22, 2007

Full episode: Animals

Summary: I don’t like cats, or even, to quote the old joke, people named Katz!

And yet, I find myself housesitting for a week with a pair of adorable, fluffy little kittens. I must admit, they’re so cute, the way they’re into everything, all the time.

Get down, get down, get down!

Their unrelenting obsessions, with shoelaces, the kitchen sink, bathroom towels, napkins, drinking glasses, plastic bags, electrical cords, pens and pencils, my socks, with everything but their own cat toys, are so adorable.

However, I’m aware of the responsibility I’ve accepted. And I’ve told the kittens’ “parents” not to worry about little Snowball and Fuzzy (not their real names), because I’m going to find good homes for them. That is, if they don’t “run away” first.

From pain comes art

Unlike incorrigible little kittens, I channel my obsessions into art, such as this song called The Ballad Of Morris The Cat.

Morris is featured in the latest, “Animals” edition of Wayne Ross’s Demented Mad Music Show. Sign up for a free membership to listen.

Gosh, It’s been minutes and minutes since I tripped over those loveable little kitties. Oh, my. Did I leave the front door open? How ever will I tell the family?
