Mad Music Dementia Top 20: ‘Die’ is still alive

Mad Music Dementia Top 20 PodcastMad Music Dementia Top 20, Episode 07-31

Date: August 10, 2007

Full episode: Mad Music Dementia Top 20 — Episode 07-31

Summary: What a ride it’s been for I’ll Get Old And Die on the Mad Music Dementia Top 20.

My song debuted at No. 2, fell to No. 17, dropped out of the poll entirely and then returned this week at No. 5. Way to keep I’ll Get Old And Die alive, fickle voters!

Meanwhile, Chris Wilkinson’s (as The Volume Brothers) Drinking For England also returned to the Top 20 at No. 14.

The fifth Hermit?

Chris WilkinsonChris, a prolific songwriter who’s drawn more than one comparison to Peter Noone, just added four new tracks to MMDT20 host David Tanny’s ballot: Take the Shame, A Punch In The Face, Fugly and The Man Don’t Like It.

Chris previewed the new songs during our Sunday cross-Atlantic jam sessions (via MSN Messenger), and I will say they’re very smart and very British. You can hear some or all of them at myspace.
