Big Phil’s Love Parade: We own ‘cheesy porn music’
Big Phil’s Love Parade, Show 94
Date: August 11, 2007
Full episode: Looking For A GFE In OKC
Summary: Recently, we’ve been analyzing the genesis of Smooth Talker, the extremely cheesy and porn-like guitar instrumental written and performed by Big Phil’s brother Clay Thompson.
Accordingly, the hot debate over Big Phil’s closing theme music has steamed up the Web. I’m proud to report turetzkysyndrome.com is now the No. 5 search site on Google for the phrase cheesy porn music. Enclose the phrase in quotes and we explode to No. 3!
Keep your eye on the sparrow
“I’m glad I could help,” says Big Phil, modestly deflecting my thanks. “That is what I do. That is my job. Very glad to help you.”
Now, Big Phil continues to suggest that Smooth Talker might orchestrate some alternative genre, say a ’70s TV cop show or even a ’70s blaxploitation flick. Forget it, Phil. Clay’s future (or, technically, past) is pure smut.
