Dr. Nasalman, I presume
In just a couple of weeks, Schnauzer Logic host Robin Goldstein has found me a theme song, an ENT and a sportswriter-turned-comic brother in Bobby Kelton.
Plus, she made a funny drop of me saying, “No, no, no, no.”
My theme music, as previewed during the previous episode, is a song called Everything Sucks by This Week’s Green Day Clone. Continue reading

Dropping like a rock
How the mighty have fallen.
It seems like only a week ago — in fact, it was only a week ago — that I’ll Get Old And Die debuted as the No. 2 song on David Tanny’s Mad Music Dementia Top 20 show.
Now, sadly, I’m barely hanging in there at No. 17. And Chris Wilkinson’s (as The Volume Brothers) Drinking For England, No. 10 a week ago, is gone completely from the Top 20! Continue reading

By … special request
“By the time he’s finished his sentence, I’ll Get Old And Die!” quipped Kahn Man’s Comedy Corner host Tyrone Kahn after listening to The Philosophy Guy intro my latest song on the Podsafe Comedy Countdown.
Tyrone, a quirky guy himself, should know better than to mock the delivery of a fellow podcaster and comedy aficionado. It’s certainly something I would never do.

Happy birthday, Tha Mike
It’s Tha Mike’s birthday on The Awful Show, and he selects I’ll Get Old And Die to serenade himself as he creeps toward the treacherous mid-30s.
“I thought that was appropriate for tonight,” Tha Mike says, darkly.
“Wow!” says co-host Nerraux.
I’ll appear as a guest on the August 17 edition of The Awful Show, which tapes (for lack of a better word) on Friday evenings and now offers a live feed, starting at about 10 p.m. CDT. Continue reading

England, here I come
I think I’m going to move to England, once it quits raining over there.
That’s because the British people, unlike the literal-minded American people, get my humor.
A prime example is Chris Hambly at AC Radio (formerly AC Sound Engineering Podcast) in Birminghamshire, U.K., who showed warm appreciation earlier this year for Her Shit Don’t Stink.
See, Chris gets the barbed humor in my songs, slathering praise all over them with his warm baritone. Here’s what Chris had to say about my new tune, I’ll Get Old And Die: Continue reading
