Big Phil’s Love Parade: The Freak hits 100

Big Phil's Love Parade PodcastBig Phil’s Love Parade, Show 100

Date: September 23, 2007

Full episode: It’s Show 100, Big Fukkin Deal

Summary: Big Phil’s justifiably shocked at the realization that he’s managed to produce 100 episodes of his beloved podcast, Big Phil’s Love Parade. And so am I.

I’m still waiting on the promised Cheesy Porn Music Tour of comedy clubs and porno palaces Big Phil announced way back in Episode 95. Forgotten, I imagine, like Oklahoma City’s abandoned dogs. Yeah, Phil had big plans for them, too.

You’re welcome, Phil

Thankfully, though, talk is cheap, so Big Phil compensates with effusive thanks to the friends and sycophants who helped build his Freak Network empire.

“Ken Turetzky: Always providing music and commentary that’s always very creative,” he says. And he mentions a bunch of other people whose names mean nothing to me, so I won’t repeat them here.

With that milestone achieved, Phil begins his fitful march to Show 101 and beyond. Yeah, I’ll be listening. It’s not like I’m busy touring or anything.

Thanks!  (0:29).
