Mad Music Dementia Top 20: DT’s on fire!

Mad Music Dementia Top 20 Podcast

Mad Music Dementia Top 20, Episode 07-40

Date: October 12, 2007

Full episode: Mad Music Dementia Top 20 — Episode 07-40

Summary: It’s always been my pleasure to contribute songs to the Mad Music Dementia Top 20, a program that supported me from the start.

We go way back, to the time when nobody had ever heard my amusing little songs. What I’m trying to say is, nobody still has ever heard my amusing little songs, and MMDT20 host David Tanny hasn’t done squat for me!

Burning love

San Diego fires 2007

DT faces more pressing matters, however, as he resides in San Diego, a particularly toasty spot these days due to a series of raging October wildfires.

San Diego is “hot, dry, smoky, and restless,” DT writes.

“It’s crazy. There’s one called the Witch fire, and I’m thinking that somehow Alyssa Milano is connected to this one.”

But enough about local politics. Even though I’ve got absolutely nothing ranked in the Mad Music Dementia Top 20 this week, I’m not complaining.

That’s because David featured two of my songs, selecting a recent release and an old favorite.

Twice the fun

First, DT introduced my latest, a meshugeneh cover of Fly Me To The Moon (as Jerry Lewis).

Then, loyal listener Dang (via the Mad Music Archive) requested My Fat Ass Itches for the Demented Resurrection Zone.

So, overall, I’m pleased with the situation. After all, nothing’s burning here!

But you’d best turn the garden hose on that podcast, just to be safe, DT. Until I find something better, you’re about all I’ve got!
