A few days after Halloween, MMDT20 host David Tanny stretches for a connection between my Jerry Lewis-lite cover of Fly Me To The Moon and the haunting holiday.
“The moon is something that werewolves like to howl at. It could be a Halloween song. I don’t care!” DT says.
And neither do the voters, who kept my song airborne for another week, at No. 8 on the chart.
Demand a paper trail
Folks across the country are headed to the polls this week to vote on meaningless propositions and so forth. Better you should check the box for Fly Me To The Moon on the MMDT20 ballot.
But the lever-pulling doesn’t end there. The polls never close at the Dr. Demento request page. Please ask for more of my songs!
