Leggolambe is another of these ruined reprobates who chose, at some defined moment in life, to cast away all pretense and let the world know what he thinks at each and every moment of the day.
The result is a myspace page (representing his band, the Whiskey Sournotes), filled with raw, wailing guitar, on original tracks with titles such as I Shit My Pants, Hardcore Porn, Rich SOB and Go All The Way.
Check leggo’s tour schedule and you’ll be hitting such venues as “Public Hanging” (May 20 in Whoopsies, Texas), “God, Women are Beautiful!” (July 22, Angel City, Minnesota) and “City Dump” (May 1, Edina, Minnesota).
What a smartass. I don’t think those places exist at all.
I’m just funny as hell
But like Dylan, leggo required other platforms to help spread his seed of discontent, and so recently delivered the Whiskey Sournotes Holiday Extravaganza for Internet broadcaster Cult Radio A-Go-Go.
Showing off his eclectic taste in music, leggo offered a playlist that included Tiny Tim, Dionne Warwick, Waylon Jennings, Leonard Nimoy and Tammy Wynette, among others.
He also played my song I’ll Get Old And Die and declared, cryptically, “That song strikes a particular chord with me.”
Stunningly, though, leggo added,
Ken is ’specially cool. Everything I’ve heard has got a different sound and everything I’ve heard is just funny as hell. He’s played on Dr. Demento; I believe Red Peters has covered one of his songs.
And he’s just got a beautiful palette of music for you to listen to.
Hear that, you slobs? I have a beautiful palette. It’s on my resume now. And whatta you got? I mean besides a job, a house, spouse, bank account and paid-up insurance.
What was I getting so excited about, again?

I too will vouch for Leggo’s excellent, albeit, twisted taste, for he was so wonderful as to procure me a live interview with Terry and Tiffany DeFoe, the founders of Cult Radio A Go Go (CRAGG).
That had to have been one of my favorite half hours ever!
