I sure was great, wasn’t I?
If I wasn’t gone, why else would Taylor Kent devote an entire episode of the Snark Tank Radio Variety Hour to “a tribute to Ken Turetzky”?
I know I haven’t produced any decent music in, like, four years, but am I really in line for a tribute? You bastards!
Snarky’s back, with a vengeance
Speaking of a character who dropped from the radar, old Snarky himself signed off on his former Snark Infested Waters show in July and only recently resurfaced with an entire slate of new podcasts.
In addition, Snarky has apparently gone secular. Missing is his former tagline, “If you don’t know Jesus, you’re screwed.”
Fortunately, though, Taylor’s as open to profanity and irreverence as ever, featuring, in order, The Ballad Of Morris The Cat, My Fat Ass Itches, Her Shit Don’t Stink, Don’t Really Matter and Fly Me To The Moon.
“He is a great artist [emphasis mine]; has kind of a unique folky style to his music,” Taylor said about me, me, me!
“That’s it for our tribute to Ken Turetzky.”
Shucks, folks, I’m speechless.
A unique folky style (1:16).

I love your music. I was happy to do the tribute.
As to going “secular”, no I have not, but the tag line has not made every show.
Thanks,
T
Taylor responds to my comment about his show going “secular”:
