Steve Wheatley and I are getting along really well now. He’s introducing me on Dalecast like a carnival barker unveiling an anatomical oddity.
“Coming up next, the one, the only, the one and only Mr. Ken Turetzky,” he says. “And it’s not Jerry Lewis, by the way. This is called Fly Me To The Moon!”
Steve’s played a big role in the recent resurgence of my song, which has enjoyed a strong run on the Podsafe Music Network Top Ten charts, peaking at No. 1.
A comedy interloper takes my spot
Last weekend, Dalecast also featured (in the coveted comedy cleanup spot, following The Bradshaws) the Volume Brothers‘ cover of My Fat Ass Itches. (Listen to both versions in the music player at right).
Good for you, Volume Brothers, but I can’t wait to re-claim my rightful comedy slot on Dalecast.
And so we conclude another fine Turetzky Syndrome blog entry. All right, my darlings, as Steve says in his strange DJ language. “Tatty bye for now, kiddies!”
