Thanks to you, the listener, and especially to me, the podcast nominator, Dalecast is one of 10 finalists for best Podsafe Music Podcast in The People’s Choice Podcast Awards.
Only a few brief weeks ago, this blog encouraged its vast readership to vote for Dalecast during the fourth annual Podcast Awards. More than 281,000 people responded, according to awards sponsors.
Need I offer any further defense of the power of the Turetzky Syndrome brand? If I did, my argument would fall apart, so I’m not going to.
But now the real work begins. Final voting opens Thursday, October 23, and concludes November 6. More than ever, Dalecast needs your support!
Payback
Dalecast host Steve Wheatley played my songs three times during recent shows, including two spins of
(Jerry Lewis) Fly Me To The Moon and another of Why Don’t You Get A Job — Live at Mayfest.
Thanks to Steve’s support, Fly Me To The Moon retains the No. 2 spot on the monthly Podsafe Music Network Comedy chart.
Dalecast has now played my songs 74 times since Feb. 17, 2008. You know I’m going to endorse Dalecast as best Podsafe Music Podcast, if purely out of self-interest.
If not for Steve’s sake, then do it for mine. Vote Dalecast!
Episode 400 (1:04).
