At long last, somebody gets my music
Leggolambe is another of these ruined reprobates who chose, at some defined moment in life, to cast away all pretense and let the world know what he thinks at each and every moment of the day.
The result is a myspace page (representing his band, the Whiskey Sournotes), filled with raw, wailing guitar, on original tracks with titles such as I Shit My Pants, Hardcore Porn, Rich SOB and Go All The Way.
Check leggo’s tour schedule and you’ll be hitting such venues as “Public Hanging” (May 20 in Whoopsies, Texas), “God, Women are Beautiful!” (July 22, Angel City, Minnesota) and “City Dump” (May 1, Edina, Minnesota). Continue reading

Fishing for compliments
Big Phil is a busy pervert with many friends and an active mind. These are ample qualifications for the role of podcast host.
On a weekly basis, Phil torments credulous listeners with stories big and small of his encounters with starving animals, Realtors, politicians and peace activists, credit card billing agents and other evildoers.
But the Love Parade really shines during those merciful weeks when Phil cuts the chatter and programs one of his beloved music shows.
“I always enjoy these music shows. I always get a lot of positive feedback,” Phil says. Continue reading

We ask the tough questions

On this “buttocks-clenching edition” of Chickenflaps, Rosie Koonunga-Hill “serves up some food-related funnies and lavatorial laughs,” which naturally include a spin of my old standby, Her Shit Don’t Stink.
Now, Chickenflaps is a sometime feature on the Comedy 365 podcast, which (according to Comedy 365) is “one of iTunes’ most downloaded independent podcasts” and is “produced in the U.K. by Sowerby & Luff.

S&L, in turn, are a noted comedy team who ask such riotous questions as, “Should pandas bleach their black bits to try and get a mercy shag off a polar bear?” Continue reading

Payloadz meets the Internet trolley of love
Shawno says I’m cranky. Or, “there’s some times…when Ken just seems a little cranky. What’s wrong, Ken?”
Oh, a lot of stuff, Shawno. But for now, let’s stick to your premise that I’m somehow unhappy with the percentage that Payloadz takes from my mp3 sales.
Not true! In fact, I recommend Payloadz’s secure digital download service. I’m fine with their fees, which still leave me with a bigger cut than iTunes.
It’s just Payloadz’s faulty affiliate forms and Junkyard Willie-style customer support that inspired this devastating e-mail exchange: Continue reading

Big Phil moves in
Looks like Big Phil’s settling in. He just closed on a home in Oklahoma City. To show their gratitude, Big Phil bought his real estate agent a can of Mace, and she bought him a book about Jesus.
And to celebrate, Phil played some My Fat Ass Itches on Episode 101 of the Love Parade.
Praise the Lord!
But something isn’t quite right. “I think my fat ass itches, also,” Phil says, tentatively.
Sure it does, Phil. Your fat ass is trying to tell you that you just made a huge mistake! Continue reading
