Knit free or Die!
So, I’m sending my latest recording, I’ll Get Old And Die, around to a few podcasts, and my friend Theresa at Knitting Time Together mistakenly gets the idea that it’s her new theme song.
You know what, though? Our miscommunication turns out to be serendipitous, because on her third or fourth listen, the pieces all fall together and Theresa realizes that I’ll Get Old And Die is the perfect theme song for a podcast about knitting, and that I was thinking about knitting when I wrote the song! I’ll Get Old And Die another day
I’ll Get Old And Die took a bye week, came back refreshed and has vaulted into the No. 7 spot on the Mad Music Dementia Top 20 countdown.
This is the fourth appearance on the MMDT20 for I’ll Get Old And Die, which surfaced in the No. 2 spot on July 20.
Slow as I am to produce new music, I’ll Get Old And Die will have to carry me for a while.

Starving dogs and exciting music news!
Here’s some interesting, although perhaps unsurprising, news about Oklahoma City, courtesy of Big Phil, host of Big Phil’s Love Parade.

Slow but hilarious — that’s me!

My appearance on The Awful Show has already won new fans, who overlooked a laconic persona to heap eloquent praise on my generic comedy music product:
Ken,
Mike from The Awful Show gifted me with a download of your album, and I must say, it is extraordinary. Rarely in today’s bloated and saturated music-scape is there such a fine blend of wit and talent. I am still laughing. Continue reading

We own ‘cheesy porn music’
Recently, we’ve been analyzing the genesis of Smooth Talker, the extremely cheesy and porn-like guitar instrumental written and performed by Big Phil’s brother Clay Thompson.
Accordingly, the hot debate over Big Phil’s closing theme music has steamed up the Web. I’m proud to report turetzkysyndrome.com is now the No. 5 search site on Google for the phrase cheesy porn music. Enclose the phrase in quotes and we explode to No. 3! Continue reading
