‘Die’ is still alive

Mad Music Dementia Top 20 PodcastWhat a ride it’s been for I’ll Get Old And Die on the Mad Music Dementia Top 20.

My song debuted at No. 2, fell to No. 17, dropped out of the poll entirely and then returned this week at No. 5. Way to keep I’ll Get Old And Die alive, fickle voters!

Big Phil's Love Parade Podcast“Mr. Turetzky thinks our outro theme music, Smooth Talker (written and performed by my baby brother Big Clay) sounds like ’70s porn music,” Big Phil writes at Big Phil’s Love Parade.

In fact, I do recall making the comparison, Phil, and I want you and Big Clay to know I’m on your side.

Dr. Nasalman, I presume

Schnauzer Logic PodcastIn just a couple of weeks, Schnauzer Logic host Robin Goldstein has found me a theme song, an ENT and a sportswriter-turned-comic brother in Bobby Kelton.

Plus, she made a funny drop of me saying, “No, no, no, no.”

My theme music, as previewed during the previous episode, is a song called Everything Sucks by This Week’s Green Day Clone. Continue reading

Dropping like a rock

Mad Music Dementia Top 20 PodcastHow the mighty have fallen.

It seems like only a week ago — in fact, it was only a week ago — that I’ll Get Old And Die debuted as the No. 2 song on David Tanny’s Mad Music Dementia Top 20 show.

Now, sadly, I’m barely hanging in there at No. 17. And Chris Wilkinson’s (as The Volume Brothers) Drinking For England, No. 10 a week ago, is gone completely from the Top 20! Continue reading
